Seeking multiple and unusual perspectives on the otherwise
ordinary has helped me to question the assumed ‘objective’
view of place and people. I am also drawn to some of
the less obvious marks, some permanent some transitory,
that we leave on the surface and body of the planet.
Photos are an essential source in catching the moment
that is otherwise lost, or the movement that betrays
with eloquence the meaning that the subject is giving
to the event.
